Loneliness in a modern age

"Loneliness is the price we have to pay for being born in this modern age, so full of freedom, independence, and our own egotistical selves" (pg 30, Sensei)


I believe eve that life is what you make of it and the decisions you choose to pursue. The technology we have available to us is mind boggling, truly advanced worlds that could be easily lost in. The choice to live in the real world and staying in your own is a hard one, yet I believe that life online can be just as fufilling as one in real life. The connections made between screens can be deeper than face to face. As a last thought though, I don’t believe anything can replace personal and face to face interactions. The human mind wants to speak to another human mind in front of them, not something thousands of miles away
